What Is Gut Health & Why Is It Important?
“Gut health” describes the function and balance of bacteria in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. A healthy gut contains healthy bacteria and immune cells that ward off infectious agents like bacteria, viruses and fungi. A healthy gut also communicates with the brain through nerves and hormones, which helps maintain general health, well-being, and calm.
There are thousands of different types of bacteria in your dog’s intestines, most of which benefit their health. However, having too many unhealthy microbes can lead to issues.
Finn Digestive Probiotics help restore balance to bacteria in the GI tract — supporting the good stuff and stopping bad bacteria from overtaking the gut. Prebiotics provide food and fuel to Probiotics — helping keep them healthy and active. The end result is better digestion, enhanced nutrient absorption, improved immune function, and a healthier, happier pup.

I have found over time this product has worked well for maintaining my dog’s gut health. I like that it contains pumpkin. Puppers loves the taste as well and gets excited every morning when I open the can.

Our 14-week puppy has been eating this probiotic consistently for almost three weeks, and his poop has been more solid and consistent! Our 7-month is slowly getting in the habit of eating it as well. We really like the packaging and transparency of ingredients!

I have tried everything and nothing seems to work especially when they say it does

We just started giving Bella Finn products and she is HOOKED and we are so happy! She now devours her food (which we typically have trouble with) and we use her Finn Hip & Joint supplements as treats at the park! We can tell her tummy is happy and healthy since she’s started and the fact she barks for her supplements shows how excited she is

I need to ammend my review! This company is very good. The owner refunded my money and told me to give the product to a shelter or friend with a dog. Also showed concern about my dogs well being. I highly recommend this company and would try any of their other products! Received these and my dog couldn’t chew them they are so hard. When I broke it up she wouldn’t eat them. Problem is they have a no return policy. Unfortunately, I didn’t see this when ordering. From now on I will buy all dog products from Chewy. Tried to connect with Amazon and got nowhere!

Our vet recommends a daily probiotic for our sensitive Yorkie girl, and we’ve experimented with many powders, soft chews, and tablets over the years. Finn is a great company, their tin packaging is adorable and handy, and most importantly, this Digestive formula really includes everything a pet parent looks for to promote healthy stools and overall tummy health: diverse and canine-appropriate probiotic strains, a high CFU count, prebiotics, and pumpkin. However, our Yorkie just did not find these soft chews very yummy on their own. Every meal we had to crumble them up and hide them in her food, or douse the chews in peanut butter to entice her. It simply became too much “work” to get these probiotics inside her each day. Our results using Finn were pretty satisfactory (limited gas, less gurgling tummy, and firmer stool), but other probiotics are just more palatable for our particular pooch and easier for Mom to give.

These are the first doggy vitamins we have ever tried. Mochi (white/brown) usually has soft runny stool and we try to give him pumpkin to help him out but we don’t always have pumpkin purée. Guess what? The first ingredient of the supplement is pumpkin! This is a great alternative. One day Teddy (brown/black) was also backed up so we gave him one and soon came the logs. Overall really happy w this product and the pups think of it as a treat! It disappears before we can even turn around!Full disclosure: Tho this is our truthful opinion, we were gifted Finn’s supplements and our pups are ambassadors since our values line up.

I was using another probiotic that worked well but tried Finn because I got the original probiotic when I had to take my dog to another vet while on vacation. The next day on Finn, my 2 year old miniature poodles’ poops were runny, discolored and smelled really bad.

My initial purchase of these was great, the chews were dark, kind of shiny exterior color, moist, and I could easily break them up without them crumbling any. The last two batches have not been the same, these appear dry, are very crumbly, the exterior is milky whitish, like chocolate turns when it is old. I have two Yorkies — 8 lbs and 5 lbs. I have to break these up into several pieces for them both and I hate how they now crumble, but I can honestly say that they work the best of any dog probiotics that I’ve tried for them, especially the first batch I got. It was really awesome. I’m wondering if the other two batches were just old?
