As a loyal Furbo customer, I recently purchased their new camera and am once again impressed with its features and design. The sleek and modern look fits perfectly into my home decor, and the installation was quick and easy. The camera offers clear 1080p video quality, and the night vision is excellent. I particularly appreciate the two-way audio feature, which allows me to interact with my dog in real time, and the treat-tossing function that lets me reward her remotely. The smart barking alerts are also incredibly useful, keeping me informed about my pet’s activities while I’m at work. Overall, as a long-time user, I highly recommend the Furbo Camera to every pet owner.

I purchased the Furbo primarily to give my puppy food rewards when she is calm in the crate, and to be able to check on her when we leave the house. It works great for these purposes with a wire crate. I put the Furbo on the floor next to the crate, with the ejection spout centered between two wires. It was well priced during prime day. If I had to pay full price for it, I might look at cheaper alternatives.I am not using the rotating, tracking, or smart alert features of the Furbo. I’m not using its speaker that allows you to remotely talk to your dog. I’ve heard that some dogs get stressed hearing their person’s voice when they are away from home, and I don’t want to chance that. I recorded silence for the treat toss sound, so as not to alarm the puppy.I load the Furbo with dog kibble, and set the treat size to “small”. The bark alert feature works well when its sensitivity is set to “medium”. There are a few false positives triggered by people talking in the house, but if I set it to “low” it misses some barking. I turn off the bark alerts when I am home, but enable them when I leave the house.Although the Furbo comes with few instructions other than the setup guide, it’s very easy to setup and use. There is a tutorial built into the app that explains how to use it.I’m not planning to use the Dog Nanny subscription, but it came with a free month of service that was automatically turned on. I found the service to be overly intrusive. It flooded my phone with alerts. Eventually I found the settings screen for the Nanny alerts and turned them all off. I’m not planning to pay for the service when the free month ends. The service might be more valuable to someone who lets their pets roam free when they are out of the house, but my puppy is always crated when left alone.I was nervous about the many negative reviews that complained about Furbo losing Wifi access, but I found its internet communication to be rock solid. Since I installed it, we have had a power failure and an internet outage, but the Furbo recovered from both of those and automatically reconnected. Others complained that their dog was able to remove the lid and steal treats, but the lid on my Furbo fits very tight and my dog is unable to open it.Furbo is a quality and reliable product, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I was iffy about this. Just because it seemed superfluous, but I wanted a camera and I thought it would be a fun gimmick but I think this may be the best thing I’ve bought for them for when I travel, potentially only 2nd to the auto Litter box I have but much more affordable and fun.I got this in March ahead of a brief trip as a trial for a longer trip I had in June. The vid is from March—the Furbo comes with 3m sticky tabs for the base so as long as you use those, it stays well (I moved it once and lost one of the sticky tabs. she did succeed in tipping it over but the petsitter got it upright and it’s been fine since—just be sure of where you want it on initial setup). The rotation of the camera also gives me a complete view, that I can also control, of my living room which was an unexpected relief to just be able to see EVERYTHING.As I was editing the vid to fit for this, they heard the jingling of the toy in the vid and immediately turned to the dispenser, and that’s the photo—you can take manual shots but it also auto captures movement and will record. When I’m gone, it’s a great way to give me some peace of mind that they’re okay and have some fun with them. It is only $7 for a monthly subscription to take little clips you can check on. When I’m home, it’s still fun to play with them with it. They know the bird chirp means treats are about to fly out and there is a mic as well you can talk through. The quality of the picture is fantastic, the app is super easy to use and holds plenty of treats to last a few weeks. All in all, I will likely buy a second one at some point in the future.

90% of the time, this thing is a heaven-send. The treat tosser is amazing, and I love being able to talk to my dog to help him calm down if he is struggling being alone! The camera quality is pretty solid too. The other 10% of the time, the app randomly stops working and I panic because I can’t tell if my puppy is having issues (we are dealing with a touch of separation anxiety unfortunately). I don’t really know if it’s the product itself that has issues or if it’s an issue with my phone, but it’s still a pain when I suddenly can’t get the app to open.

I have one of these in the bedroom where my cats often sleep. I will be getting another one for the living room. It is good quality, stays connected, and is easy to set up and use. The picture quality and zoom are very nice. I’m especially impressed with how well it performs in the dark.

July 1, 2024 first 24 hours of use.I have 3 dogs and 3 cat pet friends ages 5 to about 14 years old.Only the deaf 9 year old dog likes hunting for the treats this gadget throws out. It’s beef liver limited ingredients. The 9 year old cat sniffs it wonder if it will play laser tag.I purchased the trial optional version. All usable features require a subscription. That’s why I have it a low rating. No features without a subscription.$169 for a camera. With the trial subscription, I like the tracking feature and voice recording option. This recognizes humans very well. The Furbo is in the kitchen and hears all the kitchen noises. It’s funny hearing the names assigned to the noises. Opening a bag is assigned to chewing on a bone. For those who want the subscription, then I’d 5 star it. I paid for subscription optional, so I’m not pleased that I had to sign up for the 30 day subscription to get useful features. For people away from home then I’d recommend 2 or 3 of these in case something goes wrong with one. It’s only been 24 hours of use so I’ll have to wait to see how this will work. Two of the 3 dogs run from it when it starts making sounds. It says there’s an alert and then loses connection. I would not buy again unless I bought 3.

***update 5/18/2024***i went back into the office in december and made the mistake of buying a year of the nanny/camera recording stuff. not sure what i was thinking here other than i was anxious to be going back into the office. i’ve used other cameras with subscriptions (ring, google/nest, blink, off brand) – thought this one would be good to make sure my dog is ok and having the rotation feature + treats. for the first couple of months, i had a person coming in during the afternoon – so i’d check on my dog after the person left. the very first day, she was anxious and pacing around – i tried to give her a treat and then she was seemingly choking/dry heaving but i couldn’t tell for sure. i debated calling my neighbor, but first decided to review the footage to make sure that was what i saw. long story short, the footage anytime i was watching the dog was never there. it recorded occasional other times when i wasn’t watching – but whenever i’d check on the dog i noticed that footage was not recorded/stored. i reported this and after several non-responses and/or “there are no issues,” software reinstalls, etc – i gave up. i just put out ring cams and never give her treats remotely anymore because i don’t want her choking!!the best function for me is still being able to give her a treat via alexa command when i’m home cooking or off doing something else in the house and she’s being good. the camera is disappointing and paid subscription (that i wasn’t able to cancel) useless. if you’re going to try it, i recommend trying it a month first. i figured this would be of the level of any other camera subscription i had gotten in the past, and that was definitely not the case. the good news is my dog has handled the transition to 3 days in the office really well!8/12/2022i have a 10 month old puppy and don’t leave her alone uncrated yet – but thought i’d use this to get her used to it and watch her in the crate while away (and take advantage of the prime deal). the software is not reliable (using iphone 12 pro) and the free trial sold against itself. the diary video thing is fun, but it suddenly stopped and didn’t work for days before i noticed (had to restart the device to get it to work again). it will also randomly be pointing at a wall or turn where there is no motion i see anywhere and not be pointed toward the dog. i agree with others that the alerts are annoying and at times inaccurate…she has been sprawled out on the floor half asleep and i’ll get an alert that she’s getting active or chewing (beta!) or something like that.the best part of this device for me has been the ability to throw a treat from the other side of the room. i’m trying to get my dog to leave me alone when i’m doing food prep stuff in the kitchen. she pretty much understands and is getting better about it – but it’s great to be able to reward her hands free via alexa and not have to stop with the food prep to walk over and give her a treat, or fidget with my phone.with the treats, i tried several different recommended treats but had struggles similar to what another person said – some seemed to get caught and trip the launcher up… and then later it would shoot out multiple. i have found that charlee bear grain free crunch treats work the best and they’re very crunchy so the sound of her eating them from the other side of the room is cute.i think furbo has potential but it’s not fully there yet for me; and i definitely wouldn’t pay full price.

The Fubo mini camera was easy to install and the app was easy to set up and use too. I am out of town often and I’m able to check in on my cats to see how they are doing. I like the speaker option to talk to my kitties when I’m not home. The video quality is also quite clear. It connects to wifi quickly as well when I was setting up.

I’ve been dreaming for keeping a cat and now I finally got a chance to help my friend for taking care his Siamese cat for 3 weeks. Then I got this Furbo camera in case I go out. I am amazed that the Furbo camera entertains the cat and keep her happy.Movement tracking also works perfectly. Even though my friend’s cat has a black face, the camera still can catch it. Moreover, the app sometimes notifies me to give treat for my cat. Treat-tossing function is kind of cool. When a treat is out, my cat will go for walk to eat it, and that help my cat to get exercises! Overall it’s an amazing camera than I expected!

My spouse and I don’t work from home, so we wanted the ability to be able to check on our little guy during the work day. We also live in a townhome, so want to be aware of what’s going on to ensure our neighbors aren’t too disturbed, and at the same time didn’t need too many bells and whistles. This works perfectly to allow us to check in and get alerts if he’s being too noisy. I love that you can purchase the camera only, as a subscription would have been difficult for our budget. Super happy with the furbo mini!
