This is an awesome winter coat! I have an 80 pound Lab Hound mix and it wasn’t easy finding a coat to fit him. I bought a 2XL and it fits really well. The outside is like a wind breaker type material and inside is super super soft and snuggly. It gets pretty cold here, at least to me it is. I don’t usually take my dog for walks when it’s below 30 degrees because I worry he’ll be cold. The coldest we’ve gone for a walk with this coat is 20 degrees and it seems to keep him pretty warm. I think I got cold before he did! This coat is also great because it has buckles and doesn’t have those velcro straps that eventually don’t stick anymore. It also has a zipper on the back that you can unzip from both the top and the bottom to find the perfect opening if they wear a harness. Once you’re leash is hooked you can zip it back up to keep the cold out. His last coat had just a hole and it wasn’t where the loop to his harness was so his coat was always bunched up. It’s definitely waterproof too. The one day he went into our pond up to his chest to get a drink of water and came out soaking wet. It’s about a 10 minute walk home from our pond. I usually take his coat off once he’s inside but I could hear sloshing so I undressed him outside. I unbuckled the coat and a TON of water came out! I was shocked since we had walked so far and figured it would of drained. It’s kinda funny because when I first put the coat on him I thought the chest strap looked kinda like a diaper because it’s kinda puffy how it goes between his front legs. I thought it was really funny that it held the water almost like it was a diaper haha I can’t really comment on durability since I’ve only had it a month. It does seem like it could rip easily though if it got snagged on a branch or something sharp. Overall I think it’s a great coat and I’ll probably buy another one when this one gets old.

This jacket is so warm and cozy! I have bought many winter jackets for my dog and this is the best she has ever had. She has several beautiful hand knit sweaters which we love, but I wanted something for the very cold weather. She is a 12 pound Shih Tzu and going by the size chart, she could have fit in either the small or the medium. I decided to go with the medium so it would be roomy enough to fit over her sweaters. It is perfect! You can see in the photos that she is wearing a sweater underneath. The arm straps have clips and are adjustable, so you can make it tighter. There are elastic leg straps which are optional, but I like them because it keeps the back of the coat from rolling up her back. The length is perfect and fully covers her back. It’s a bit open on the bottom, but the sweater underneath solves that. I like the zippered opening for the harness strap. It is nice that it opens on both ends. I get many compliments on this jacket while walking my dog!

I was a bit skeptical when we bought these coats for our fur babies. They can be picky and the idea of putting coats on them before we go outside and whether they would tolerate them made me hesitant to purchase. It turns out that they LOVE them!PROS -Easy to put on and take offGreat coverage but not limiting – they can do their business without being hinderedWarm and functional – our pups seem to want to stay out longer in single digit temps and snowStylish – (other dogs look jealous on our walks)Good value for $ – seen more expensive coats that don’t look as nice and functionalFlexible fit – while our two may look the same size one is short and a bit fatter than the other yet Medium fits both very nicelyCONS -Takes a few seconds more to get ready for walk (OK… maybe I’m lazy)Our two genuinely seem to like to put their coats on and go outside. They show the same sort of enthusiasm as showing them a leash and knowing they are headed outdoors. There hasn’t been a single instance of them trying to shake them off or escape as I expected. Your results may differ but ours have been fantastic.

I have an Aussie/Border Collie/Cattle Dog mix….neck 13″ (not pressing fur down), chest 24″, and back length from base of neck to base of tail is about 23.5″. I wanted the jacket to go all the way to the base of her tail, and part way down her haunches, but if I ordered the size that fits that measurement, it’d be way too big everywhere else. It is written to go mostly by the chest, but Medium would be way too short, so I got the Large, but it ended up being slightly too small and way too short as well. I went up one more size to XL and what a big difference…fit nicely after tightening up the straps, and went all the way to the base of her tail, covered the upper part of her haunches (the Large did not), and neck wasn’t too big.I have a few pros and cons for the jacket as a whole that I’ll list below:PROS: Nicely made jacket and love the purple color! It’s lightweight and the fleece liner is very soft and medium thick. Fleece collar is so soft and warm (and makes it “stylish” and cute). Front of chest and belly are nicely covered too. Reflective stripes work nicely. The zipper on upper back is long enough for a harness leash hook no matter where the hook is (some jackets only have a small hole). I like how the back end of it is shaped down slightly to cover upper haunches (if you get the right size). It kept her warm…it wasn’t as cold as it has been, but she recently lost some fur due to allergies and isn’t as floofy as she usually is, so I think this jacket will be great for when the temps drop again. I have a thin fleece coat that wraps all the way around her body that I layered underneath, so that helps too.CONS: This jacket is not truly waterproof. I took it for its first test drive in the pouring down rain…we spent about 40 minutes walking, and the thin nylon fabric was drenched, and the back end of the fleece liner was a bit wet. However, it did not soak through the fleece liner around her body, so in that respect, it did keep her body dry, but if we spent more time out there in the rain, it may eventually soak through. Also, the back end crept up a few times and I had to pull it down to her tail again…it’d be nice if there were elastic straps that hook around her back legs (I may sew some on). I’ll play with the tightness of the chest straps to see if that’ll help. Though it could be due to using a harness and that is pulling it up when she is behind me. None of those things were a deal breaker for me though, but worth mentioning.Overall, it’s a great jacket and I’m pleased with the purchase. 🙂

So glad I found this coat. Fits my 22 lb Cavalier King Charles perfectly and keeps him warm on our cold walks when it’s below freezing. So many good features, but the best is that it doesn’t get in the way when he has to pee. So many OTHER coats I’ve tried wrapped around his stomach and got wet every time he had to relieve himself. That alone makes this the best coat we’ve ever tried. In addition, he gets great coverage around his neck and the elastic bands in the back wrap around his back legs to keep the coat in place — especially helpful in the rain to keep him extra dry. The coat seems longer down his back than others we’ve tried. Usually we don’t even bother with the straps, though. The belly adjustment is very easy to fit and the buckles are easy to handle. I also love the zipped opening for his leash. The leash goes through the opening whether using a harness or just attached to his collar. So happy with this wonderful warm coat.

Love this coat! My dog Leo is about 46lbs and mix between lab and Australian shepherd. He was between a L and xl so I went with the xl for the length. I love that you can put the jacket on over a harness due to the zipper on the back. Seems like super good quality and is super easy to put on.

Easy to put on and take off. It’s adjustable to allow for expanding waists! Machine washed on gentle in cool water. I have both styles for my dogs, the Velcro closure and the clip. Both are very easy to use, the coats stay on and cover from neck to tail! No potty issues either and I have a male and female Cavaliers.

Fit fine around the chest. Not long enough

Fits well, and getting it on our dog is easy, however we do not use the rear leg bands. They would help keep it centered better on our dogs back, but that is not worth the hassle. My biggest concern is that the material is not very rugged.

At first dog didn’t like the back leg band and was going ti return. Plus it was late first one date then its arriving early and then sorry but its late. Then decided not to use the back leg bans . The sides have snaps and they work perfectly well.. Decided to keep it
